“Designing with Recycled Materials” is endorsed by OCR for use with the OCR GCSE Design and Technology: Resistant Materials specification. “Product Design and Mass Manufacture: Design Optimization”, is endorsed by OCR for use with the OCR GCSE Design and Technology: Product Design specification. It would also be suitable for sixth formers as it could lead onto further discussion.

We have also produced a new D&T title. Smart Resistant Materials, looks at the characteristics and applications of a range of smart resistant materials, including shape memory alloys, thermochromatic plastics and QTC.
